Dump truck is a vehicle that unloads goods by itself through hydraulic or mechanical lifting. Also known as dump truck. It is composed of automobile chassis, hydraulic lifting mechanism, cargo compartment and force taking device.

Dump truck compartments are divided into two types: backward tipping and lateral tipping. The motion of piston rod is controlled by the control system. Backward tipping is more common. The piston rod is pushed to make the compartment tipping and a few two-way tipping.

In civil engineering, dump trucks often work with excavators, loaders, belt conveyors and other construction machinery to form a loading, transportation and unloading production line for loading, unloading and transporting earthwork, sand and bulk materials.
